Doug Hoehn of Wyckoff, New Jersey, recently assisted in the rescue of 17 dogs and cats found homeless and on the street in Paterson, New Jersey. All the animals had been abandoned and several were in need of medical care. Included in the rescue group included several puppies only 6 weeks old. Hoehn said that they would try to find homes for all rescued pets and he was optimistic that would happen.
