Douglas B Hoehn, a retired professional, originates from Wyckoff, New Jersey. His remarkable career spanned over four decades, during which he made significant contributions to the field of education, authored influential texts, and passionately pursued hobbies that resonated with his compassionate nature.

His academic journey commenced at Dakota Wesleyan University, where he pursued his Bachelor’s degree in 1970. This was just the beginning of a long and illustrious educational voyage. He excelled, earning a Master’s in Speech Communication from the University of Maryland in 1972. His quest for knowledge did not end there; in 1979, he completed his Ph.D. in Speech Communication at New York University.

During his academic pursuits, he made his mark as a teaching graduate assistant at the University of Maryland and later as a teaching fellow at New York University. His dedication to education was evident even in his early years, as he served as the President of the student body at Dakota Wesleyan University and later as the Vice President of the graduate student association at New York University.

For over four decades, he dedicated his professional life to education. He served as a full professor of English at the Community College of Philadelphia for an astounding 41 years.
